Addison Bowcut's Bio
K 2 Instructional Aide
Hi everyone! My name is Addison Bowcut, and I am so excited for the opportunity I have to work at Advantage Arts Academy! I grew up in Logan and moved to Memphis, Tennessee when I was thirteen. After graduating high school, I attended BYU-Idaho for a couple semesters. Before transferring to another school, I had the AMAZING opportunity to complete an internship at Walt Disney World. I'm kind of a Disney nerd! I then went to USU and graduated with my Elementary Education degree, and I taught first grade for 2 years in Cache County and Davis County. I now live in Eagle Mountain with my wonderful husband, our sweet little 2 year old, and our playful goldendoodle.
In my spare time I love to read, cross stitch, be outside doing anything, socialize, and plan events. I also love to travel and experience new places, but I've never been out of the country. Hopefully someday I can accomplish that dream! I am a huge foodie and love all food. It's one of my favorite things about travelling! I also play the piano, and I LOVE to sing. I'm not a professional singer, but I pretend to be one!
I am so excited to be working with your sweet children this year! I left my teaching career to raise my family, but I can't stay away! Someday I will teach again, but for now I will be helping our teachers, and I'm so grateful to be working with THE BEST in such an amazing school! This year will be amazing, and I'm so excited to be working in an arts school. The arts are so important and are such wonderful tools for learning. I can't wait to meet our students!!!
